Become a holistic healer with a competitive edge. The Doctor of Acupuncture (DAc) program at National University of Health Sciences offers a comprehensive curriculum that treats the whole person. In the DAc program, you will learn to balance Eastern and Western medicine. Learn to master therapies like acupuncture needling, moxibustion, cupping, herbal medicine, and more. As an NUHS DAc graduate, you’ll be able to treat the whole patient, not only the symptom. |
These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
Students interested in pursuing the DAc, MAc or MAc-HM degree programs are required to have completed a minimum of 90 semester hours or 120 quarter hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 (on a 4.00 scale). Priority admission will be granted to students with a 3.00 cumulative GPA if qualified applications exceed the number of spaces available. These courses will serve as an excellent foundation for a medical education at NUHS. In addition, DAc, MAc, and MAc-HM students must read and understand the technical standards for their respective programs. |
